Mole Control Buffalo
Moles are the critters that tunnel through your lawn and push up mounds of soil. The damage is most visible in the spring and fall as the ground is moist near the surface. The main diet of the mole is the earthworm not the grub. Moles will eat grubs, but because of the fact they have to nearly eat their weight in food daily….grubs would not suffice. Moles are very territorial and you may have one or two per acre. All that digging is typically from one mole which can tunnel around 18’ per night. All the so called methods of treating such as smoke bombs, gum, moth balls, will only be a temporary solution at best.Even using a mole trap is not going to be 100% effective. As long as there is a food source and good tunneling soil moles will stay in the area. If you have a mole problem, contact Seasonal lawncare and we will inspect the food source. It may in fact be grubs in which a grub control maybe needed. But more than likely, the earthworm is the choice of diet.
